Tyler Bertuzzi, James Wisniewski, PIMs-format targets and oodles more ...     ***     Things were relatively on course for this rambling, as I pieced together a thought daily since my last session Tuesday. Then Cliffy's ramblings added a few more nuggets, and then there have been a few interesting tidbits popping [...]

Looking at the fantasy value of a pair of Islander wingers, what's in the future for Zach Parise, and other fantasy winger thoughts.  **** It’s kind of hard to not to think about the fantasy value for the higher-end Toronto Maple Leafs skaters for next year. Thoughts on Kirill Petrov; Bishop vs. Crawford; Isles goalie of the future; Jeff Petry and more...

Wow - another year has passed. And so, for the ninth consecutive year, I have released the Fantasy Prospects Report. The release was Monday, but I already gave it an update.

Yesterday's update consisted of fixing a few minor errors (the wrong arrow in front of some player names, etc.). But I also did three new profiles, bringing the total to 489 prospects profiled. Kirill Petrov (NYI), Maxim Letunov (ARI) and Eetu Laurikainen (EDM). I also moved two of the profiled players into a new UFA section because their teams did not re-sign them and they go back into the draft - Brendan Burke and Chris Clapperton.

It's way too early to write off the Tampa Bay Lightning...   Everyone has already written off the Tampa Bay Lightning, so obviously, I'm cheering for them even more now. I'm a loyal fan to my teams, but after that, it's all about fleeting alliances.   There are all kinds of Gandhi quotes on [...]
