Hearing Kirill Kaprizov recently signed 3 yr extention in KHL. Shouldn’t this affect his ranking more?

    • Dobber 2017-07-11 at 14:35

      I didn’t know

      • Marc-Olivier Fortier 2017-07-11 at 14:57

Yeah, pretty much confirmed on the internets…

  2. John 2017-07-11 at 09:30

Just a reminder that Alex Tuch is now a LV. Golden Knight not MIN

    • Dobber 2017-07-11 at 14:36

      Noted, thanks
I had adjusted his ranking properly, but forgot to change his team

  3. Wes 2017-07-11 at 10:11

Alex Tuch is VGK now, not MIN. Just a minor oversight.

  4. Pat Fraser 2017-07-11 at 13:33

Hi dobber, great job, I was sure Clayton Keller and Dylan Strome would be before Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick in this list and I was right for Keller … there’s one guy missing I think Eeli Tolvanen (nas round 1 #30), he’s one of top goal scorer to come … keep me posted for that … thanks.

    • Dobber 2017-07-11 at 14:36

      His rank is 220

      • Pat Fraser 2017-07-11 at 15:05

why ? he’s low for a guy with his potential … he should be in the top 100 don’t he ? … he’s better than 98-norris sjs, 102-chytil nyr and 108-haapala fla ….

        • Dobber 2017-07-11 at 15:37

Mainly, look at Nashville’s prospect track record. Most of them put up points at 23 or 24 or longer. You want to sit on him for 6 years?
A San Jose guy is often up and helping fantasy teams at 21. Those two years make a big difference, you’re not wasting a roster spot for as long.

          • Pat Fraser 2017-07-11 at 16:00

thanks dobbs, that’s a good observation … though i’m sure you will move him up in a few months because he’s too good to pass on … we’ll see …

  5. Ville Pääkkö 2017-07-12 at 07:15

In the prospect guide you had tolvanen, mittelstadt, makar etc before glass. What made you change your mind about glass? Or is he closer to nhl but lower upside?

  6. toucansafari 2017-07-14 at 09:33

Hi Dobber. Thanks again for the rankings. So based on the prospect report, in my draft I took guys like Thomas, Poeling, Ratcliff over Chytil and Norris. Now the rankings come out and those guys don’t even crack the top 200 and Norris and Chytil are way up the list. Is that just a result of team they got drafted by? Did I make some bad draft day decisions?

  7. Tyler 2017-07-16 at 10:04

I’m in a keeper league that drafts 1st rounders and rookies that played in their first NHL game(s) the previous season. I was able to obtain the 2nd and 3rd overall picks. I’m selecting best player available. How would you rank Hisch, Guentzel, Patrick and Aho in terms of long-terms upside? Hisch is likely gone with the 1st, so I’m looking at one of the other three, and leery on Patrick given his hernias. Thanks in advance!

  8. Kyle Snowdon 2017-08-20 at 08:16

Where is Chabot, Sergachev, etc? At first I thought maybe this list didn’t include those who have played at least one NHL game but if that were true Barzal, Puljujarvi, and Meier wouldn’t be here on the list.

    • dom coulombe 2017-08-25 at 16:03

      This is top 200 Forwards.

  9. all-in 2017-09-16 at 19:08

No August & September updates? Need to buy the guide?

  10. Dean Youngblood 2017-09-26 at 09:41

Dudes, Gotta get Jesper Bratt (NJD) on this list. He’s a gem and I’d have him Top 30. Kid can play. Kyrou should be further up this list as well. Robbie Thomas needs a healthy bump too

    • Dobber 2017-09-26 at 10:08

I have Bratt around 205 – too far out. Swede 2nd league? Thanks for tips Brendan

  11. CJM 2017-09-28 at 10:36

Where does Alex Debrincat rate? I have him above most of this list.
