Angus here – taking your fantasy hockey questions all day here!

Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe is reporting that Oilers scouts are voting 6-5 that they should take Taylor Hall with the top pick.

KPD also speculates that Joe Pavelski’s similar numbers to Phil Kessel over their career and his strong playoff puts him in line to make over $5 million next year. Good point. Bye Marleau.

The Pens are impressed with the play of Mark Letestu, who is in the lineup while the likes of Ruslan Fedotenko and Alexei Ponikarovsky get scratched. Letestu was an undrafted forward whom the Pens signed in 2007. He had a rough first year of pro which included a trip to the ECHL. But he has since settled down and become a 70-point kind of player in the AHL with a career plus-30. At the NHL level, he may be able to work his way up to the third line and become a 40- or 45-point player, but to do any better he would need to play on the wing on this team.

Brian Campbell’s assist last night gives him his first point of the playoffs.

Michael Leighton’s ankle is ready. He will back up Brian Boucher

So did Luongo show up or did Luongo show up?

Mikael Samuelsson continues to perform even without the Sedins. He’s brought the best out of Kyle Wellwood and they were actually out in the final minute of a close game.

Kevin Bieksa picked up three points. Haven’t seen him all year. Welcome back!

Even when his team loses 4-1, Jonathan Toews is finding a way to get you a point. We call that the “Johan Franzen trick”.

I forgot to point out that the May edition of the Top 150 hitters is up over at DobberBaseball.com

Pavol Demitra was back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch. He only played 9:34 though. From a hero for Team Slovakia to a zero in Vancouver. How did that happen?

Sami Salo left the game after getting hit by the puck. He did not return and of course there is no word. If a word does come, it will be to announce that he is done for the playoffs. That’s the way it works with injuries right now.

Speculation continues about the future of Nicklas Lidstrom. I believe he will return.

Andrei Markov and Jaroslav Spacek could be back in the Montreal lineup. Hal Gill, on the other hand, probably won’t be.
