Pens Add Big Laraque
Dobber Sports
2007-02-27
The Pittsburgh Penguins have added tough guy Georges Laraque from the Phoenix Coyotes for prospect Dan Carcillo and an 8th round draft pick.
Penguins: have now addressed all their needs except for a stay-at-home defenseman. This team is for real. Crosby and Malkin will now be even more productive – even an inch of extra space means all the world in such a fast game.
Coyotes: Carcillo is ranked 246th in my prospect rankings list. He has 60-point upside and is about three years away.
Fantasy Players Impacted: as stated above, I can see Crosby and Malkin both increasing their production by as much as 10 per cent. They need more respect and more space, and now they will get that.
