Jakub Voracek has signed an entry-level contract with the Blue Jackets. I don't see him making the team this year, but next year looks promising.

Reports out of Sweden are saying that Forsberg was back on the ice yesterday playing in a charity game in which he got two goals and three assists. The report is complete with pictures of him actually playing hockey – so his foot and ankle would seem to be fine now. My thanks to Mad Dog for the link and info.

The Bruins have signed budding power forward Milan Lucic to an entry-level deal. The Memorialf Cup MVP will be a couple of years getting the NHL yet. Lucic is ranked 195 on my fantasy prospects list.

Michal Holmqvist has signed to play in Sweden next season.

Ric Jackman has given up on the NHL, signing a contract with Red Bulls Salzburg of the Austrian League. He'll join Josh Green and Darby Hendrickson there.
