Boston winger Stanislav Chistov has reportedly received a very lucrative offer from a team in Russia. It sounds like there is a good chance he will go back there this season.

If we are to listen to an interview that Nik Lidstrom had with a Swedish newspaper, then we can feel secure in knowing that Nik Lidstrom will remain in the NHL in 2008-09. He becomes a UFA in 2008 and there has long been rumors that he would like to back to Sweden to finish his career. This news makes me feel more comfortable that we fantasy junkies will get at least two more years out of him yet. In the interview, he also expressed his desire to play with Peter Forsberg.
