Rob Schremp suffered a quad injury – that was why things were moving along slowly (as reported a few days ago in my ramblings). He should still be fine for training camp and will battle Andrew Cogliano for the final center's job.
Mike Peca is only talking to the Rangers right now.
The Coyotes signed Joel Perrault to a contract yesterday.
The Oilers have signed Kyle Brodziak and Matthieu Roy to contracts.
The Blues signed restricted free agents Yan Stastny, Jeff Woywitka, Jason Bacishihua, Mike Glumac and Matt Walker. All of the above signings were expected and should in no way change your fantasy strategy.
As rumored, Stanislav Chistov has indeed signed to play in Russia next season.
Besides Stephen Weiss, the Panthers also have yet to sign Noah Welch.
