Lots of graduates in this month's edition of the Fantasy Prospects list and that resulted in quite a bit of movement.

By email request, here are my thoughts on the Emery vs. Gerber situation: Ottawa is looking very good for another strong Stanley Cup run and with Anahiem having just won the Cup with Giguere and Bryzgalov and the Sens will want that same security in net. They will stick with both goalies so do not expect a Gerber trade this season. Emery will gradually start with more frequency, but by the end of the season I would expect him to hold a slim 42 to 40 game edge over Gerber. This means that both goalies will get 25 wins…but I don't see either of them getting 32. Just my take.

Darcy Tucker was back in the lineup for the Leafs last night, but was used sparingly. He and Mark Bell each played less than  12 minutes. Jiri Tlusty played just 10 minutes and it is looking as if he will soon be sent down to the Marlies for more ice time.

Bryan McCabe also returned for the Leafs and received regular ice time.

The Sabres welcomed Jaroslav Spacek back into the fold. Spacek and Campbell each played over six minutes on the PP.

Maxim Afinogenov played over 18 minutes last night. A note to Afinogenov and Vanek owners – these two will get rolling soon. Ruff is a good coach and he turned a group of nobodies into an offensive team four years ago and he'll do it again this year. Just hang in there for a few more weeks.

Loui Eriksson was finally sent down to the AHL. Chris Conner has taken has spot.

Dan Cleary is heating up with four points in his last three games as well as 10 shots in his last two. His ice time is still third-line caliber, but if you need a depth guy to put up decent points over the next couple of weeks he is worth a look.

St.Louis rookie David Perron grabbed two points and played over 17 minutes last night. He saw nearly five minutes on the power play.

Samsonov played less than seven minutes last night and only 20 seconds on the PP. He still managed to record an assist. He'll have to keep producing like that before his ice time changes, that is for sure.

Despite Duncan Keith's recent offensive success, the 'Hawks are not using him on the power play and as such do not put too much stock in him at this time. For some reason, the team has been using Byfuglien and Vandermeer over him. Seabrook also played zero minutes on the PP last night. I'm not sure if this is some sort of message to them, but it's something to take note of.

Jamie Langenbrunner should be back in the New Jersey lineup before next weekend. He's a Sutter type of player and may further hinder Gionta and Elias. Fifteen games into the season and they are being outscored by Jay Pandolfo. Need I say more? I'm rebuilding in a keeper league and I am taking a long look at players like these two – the perfect 'buy low' scenario.

Kyle Calder's broken thumb will keep him out of the lineup for another three weeks. Meanwhile, tough guy Raitis Ivanans is hoping to be back early next week.

Marty Turco will start for the Stars today – his fourth straight.

Petteri Nummellin is playing forward for the Wild. He should get double status soon in Yahoo and makes an excellent pickup. His first game up front on a line with Parrish and Koivu he picked up two assists. With Pavol Demitra out for at least another 10 days, expect Nummellin to continue to see time up front.

Edmonton rearguard Sheldon Souray is targeting a return to the lineup by the end of next week. That would be ahead of schedule.

Daymond Langkow does indeed have a concussion and as such he will definitely be out for at least a week, likely a little longer.

The Sharks scratched Christian Ehrhoff last night.

Patrice Bergeron has been placed on long-term injury reserve and I personally don't expect to see him back before January. This concussion is very serious and I think he could very well miss the rest of this season.
