According to Jim Gintonio's Blog , Daniel Carcillo is shooting for 40 points and half the penalty minutes next season (the low 200s if he plays the full season).

Gintonio is also reporting that Radim Vrbata's agent is having contract talks with Phoenix. If he signs anywhere else, all bets are off. His value is in Phoenix.

Kimmo Timonen has a bruised shoulder – not a dislocation – and as such he will be in the lineup tonight for Game 4.

Corey Perry is "probable" for tonight's game four. He missed the first three games with a lacerated tendon above his right knee.

The Carolina Hurricanes signed Nick Dodge, a two-way forward ranked 338 on my fantasy prospects list, and Stefan Chaput, also a two-way forward who is ranked 347, to enty level contracts. Neither have 70-point upsides in the NHL, but under the right circumstances both could produce up into the low 60s. Dodge is about two years away while Chaputis four.

The Calgary Sun is reporting that Jarome Iginla stood up for Kristian Huselius when the coaching staff gave Huselius a tough time with his lack of defensive coverage. He reportedly was in a shouting match with assistant coach Rich Preston yesterday. If anyone can get the coach to give Huselius more ice time and responsibility, it's Iginla.

Dominik Hasek allowed three goals on 14 shots and got the hook. Osgood stopped all 13 that he faced in relief. Speculation is that Chris Osgood will get the start on Friday.

Sergei Zubov skated yesterday, but without equipment and is not close to a return. Personally, I think Game 7 is the earliest we'll see him.
