I have a small problem with something related to Joomla. If you know your stuff, would you mind giving me 30 minutes of your time? An easy, but frustrating problem. Flip me an email if you can help. dobber at dobberhockey dot com

The FAN590 is reporting that Fabian Brunnstrom will make his decision by tomorrow.

If you are an active reader of our forums, you would have known a week ago that Pavol Demitra is a strong possibility to sign with Vancouver and that he visited the city. His former agent is Vancouver's GM.

The Blackhawks have signed this year's Jonas Hiller. Antti Niemi has been one of the better products from the goaltending factory we know as Finland. He will enter my goalie rankings in the top 60 when it comes out May 20. He could be the backup next season.

The Panthers have signed Kamil Kreps and Wade Belak to contracts. Both are for two years.

Former Dallas GM Doug Armstrong is interested in the Leafs job. The team could do worse than him, although his prospects track record is only average. His pro smarts are up there, though.

Pittsburgh prospect rearguard Alex Goligoski is second in AHL playoff scoring with 12 points in eight contests. He is 150th on my prospects list.

Rick Westhead is reporting that Jim Balsillie contacted Sabres' owner Tom Golisano about buying the team. Golisano said he would sell…but not if it was relocated. Just to let you know that Balsillie is still around.

Columbus Dispatch: Blue Jackets prospect Stefan Legein, the second-round pick in the 2007 draft, has left the Syracuse Crunch to get a jump on his offseason conditioning program, general manager Scott Howson said. Legein, a winger, played sparingly in just two Crunch postseason games after joining the team from junior hockey last month. Howson said he didn't want Legein, 19, serving as a spare part when he could be getting started on his workouts.

If Michael Frolik is not signed within just over three weeks, he will go back into the draft. Jacques Martin is confident he will be signed.

Tarik El-Bashir says in his Blog that Jaromir Jagr is off the Caps' books now (we knew that) and that Ted Leonsis will spend the money freed up on the big raises for Ovechkin, Semin, Clark and Green. Jagr will not be in Washington next year, in case you were a little muddled on the matter.
