Penguins sign Fedotenko and Satan

Pittsburgh has signed forwards Miroslav Satan and Ruslan Fedotenko. Both deals are one-year contracts, with Satan earning $3.5 million next year and Fedotenko $2.5 million…
Fedotenko will add a third-line presence to the team, perhaps lining up with Jordan Staal. But he has established a points range between 30 and 45 and while joining the Pens should put him towards the top of that range, don't expect him to go over it.
Satan is 34 in the fall and is two years removed from clearing 60 points. Then again, so was Petr Sykora last year (the points part, anyway). If he's going to resurrect his career, it's here and now. Look for 30 goals and 65 points again.
Dobber rates Fedotenko a "sell": 36 to 46 points.
Dobber rates Satan a "buy": 59 to 67 points.
