Small glitch fixed – instead of "upside" in the chart at the end, I had the player's current points. That is fixed now, feel free to re-upload it if you need that info.

Ales Hemsky is back doing off-ice workouts. He is doubtful for tonight, but shouldn't be more than 2-3 more games missed.

In a span of 2:21 of hockey last night, Bobby Ryan scored a natural hat trick. His scoring is so reliable right now, that even when Selanne returns I don't see Ryan being impacted as much as I originally thought.

In the last nine games, Antoine Vermette has earned at least a point in every second one. Seven points in all. I think he has turned the corner.

Dany Heatley was a minus-4 last night.

In a whirlwind of activity, the Flames quickly recalled my 14th ranked fantasy prospect Mikael Backlund to their NHL roster… and then threw him in a game! He played 10:44, but was held pointless. I think he'll have a nine-game audtion and if he posts more than four points I think he'll stick.

Todd Bertuzzi's back flared up again and he sat out last night's game.

The Bruins would not disclose what type of injury Milan Lucic is suffering from, but he sat out last night's contest.

The Preds recalled Mike Santorelli and he played his first NHL game. He saw time on a line with Jones and Dumont.

Legwand shifted to the left wing as a result of Santorelli's presense. Legwand played with Arnott and Erat.

Steve Sullivan is still on track to return tomorrow.

Stick Pascal Leclaire back onto the IR – his ankle flared up again. Dan LaCosta was recalled.

Speaking of ankles, Patrick Kane was back in the CHI lineup last night. He played 17:41 and notched an assist. There is still some minor discomfort when he does certain things, but otherwise he says he feels fine. I say be wary of this situation.

Oscar Moller is out with a fractured clavicle suffered in the last game of the WJC. He will be gone for this month and well into February. This extends Teddie Purcell's stay.
