Kozlov will miss tonight's game for WAS with his groin injury.

The Caps are going with Neuvirth as their backup because Varlamov and Johnson are both injured.

Keep an eye on Eric Fehr. He is finally playing where he was destined to play (for a few years now it's been predicted by many fantasy owners) – with Ovechkin.

David Booth and Tomas Vokoun (flu) will be back in the FLA lineup tonigh.

Not really fantasy news, but interesting – the Philadelphia Phantoms have been sold to a group in Pittsburgh, so expect the team to move for next season.

From the Edmonton Journal on Lubomir Visnovsky: "The initial word we get is it's going to be lengthy (time out)," said Oilers head coach Craig MacTavish, "but we'll assess it when we get back from the road trip on Monday.

Frustrated by his intense hot and frigid cold streaks, coach Ron Wilson scratched Mikhail Grabovski last night. You know my theory about healthy scratches – it's the kick in the pants some players need.

The Jackets have activated Filatov off of IR and have sent him to Syracuse.

Guillaume Latendresse will be out for six weeks with a shoulder injury. This should keep Pacioretty around.

The Sens have recalled Ryan Shannon from Binghamton, where he is the leading scorer. With a new coach (who was actually his coach in Binghamton), look for Shannon to get a golden opportunity.

Steve Mason will not play tomorrow, getting a much needed rest (he has mono)

Artem Anisimov was sent back to the AHL by the Rangers.

David Backes should be back tonight without having missed a game.

TJ Oshie is still struggling with his ankle injury, but should be okay to play tonight.

The Flyers lost Richards, Coburn and Upshall last night – all to the mighty flu. Richards literally ran out of the locker room about 1 1/2 hours before the game according to philly.com

Rod Brind'Amour will not play tonight because of a lower body injury. He will miss about a week.

Henrik Zetterberg played over 20 minutes in his return to the lineup.

Not the greatest start for Justin Pogge of the Leafs – he allowed five goals on 32 shots

TSN is reporting that Sean Avery is close to finishing off his anger management and will begin skating soon. It sounds as though he will be claimed by some team upon "re-entry" waivers, but will need to prove himself in the AHL first. I think a desparate team may roll the dice on him this season, but you won't see him playing in the NHL before mid-March.

Nikita Filatov is still out with an illness. He did not practice yesterday.
