As expected, the Avs signed prospect Ryan Stoa to an entry level contract. Stoa had a fantastic comeback year in college after sitting out last season with an injury. He has shot up to 63rd on my prospects list and moves up a little further with the news. With the Avs in need of a full rebuild, he could be in the NHL sooner than normal.

The Avs also signed undrafted pivot Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll. His QMJHL numbers are inflated because he was 20 playing with 18 year olds and he is a little small. That being said, he can put up points and that can't be ignored.

The Stars signed goalie Richard Bachman to an entry level contract. If Stephan doesn't show more next season, I think it will be Bachman who replaces Turco in 2-4 years.

The Kings recalled Brian Boyle. The promising Boyle has had a miserable campaign for Manchester offensively.

Doug Weight's return to the lineup knocked Josh Bailey's ice time down to 11:39. That said, I think Bailey is line for 50 points next campaign.

The Pens signed prospect Mark Letestu to a two-year deal. The 24-year-old pivot was never drafted, but was signed by the Pens in 2007. He is not considered one of their better prospects, although he does put up numbers at the AHL level.

The Caps recalled Oscar Osala and he played six minutes last night. He was a minus-1. He is ranked 95th on my prospects list.

Mikhail Grabovski has 11 points in his last six contests.

Devin Setoguchi is on a five-game point streak. He has eight in that span.

Brooks Laich has nine points in his last 10 contests.

Zach Parise has 19 in his last 14. I know it's going to be hard to trade this guy in the summer, but you have to do it. He'll be coming off a 100-point season and how many players do that back to back? Can he do it? Sure he can. But think about the boatload of quality players you will get in return. This is the epitome of selling high. I expect 100 points this year, and 90 next. Let me put it this way – last summer I traded Lecavalier in both keeper leagues I had him in. He had 200 points over the two prior seasons, so I sold him high. Now I'm sitting pretty.

Steven Stamkos has 22 points in his last 23 games. Look for 65-70 out of him next year.
