Pick up my Playoff Draft List, HERE . Just $8.95 – not only is cheaper than other playoff lists you'll find, but there is a possibility that I put together those other lists you have seen out there (I won't say which ones – confidentiality agreement). Hey – it's what I do!
I'll have a full, exclusive report for you on Monday about my time at the Knights- Spifires game, complete with thoughts on the likes of John Tavares, Taylor Hall, Ryan Ellis, Greg Nemisz, Trevor Cann, Michael Del Zotto, Nazem Kadri, John Carlson, etc. As well, I had the pleasure of going over my Fantasy Prospects List with an NHL scout and had his comments on many players on that list over the course of a couple of hours. You'll enjoy the read – that's coming on Monday. Regular ramblings will be back tomorrow.
I'm in the beautiful city of London, Ontario looking forward to taking in tonight's Knights game and watching a little Tavares action. Brief ramblings today and tomorrow.
Daniel Carcillo was suspended one game for punching Max Talbot – YouTube clip below.
Interesting to see the Red Wings sign Dick Axelsson. Or rather, Grand Rapids signed him, the Wings signed him last year. But it tells us he will be in North American in the fall and could be in the NHL as a regular in 18 months.
As expected, Patrice Bergeron, Rene Bourque, Patrick Sharp, Kristian Huselius, Marian Hossa an Jonathan Cheechoo were all back in the lineup for Game 1. Wish I could analyze the details of each for you – including line combos, but my Internet connection is painfully slow. By the time I rambled them to you they will have played Game 5.
With Cleary playing last night, Ville Leino was sent back to the AHL.
Here's Carcillo's punch:
