Varlamov – I told you so – Ramble – May 03, 2009

Cam Barker would be a 65-point guy starting next year if he can only stay healthy. He can't, so he'll merely be a 55-point guy.
Eric Fehr has zero points in eight games and is a minus-3.
Phil Kessel has a swollen left elbow that caused him to miss practice yesterday, but he is practicing this morning.
Petr Sykora played 11 minutes yesterday, going pointless. It was Miro Satan's turn to sit. Neither player will reach 40 points again in this league. Time to get the tiniest shred of return on them in your keeper league.
Kris Versteeg is having a fantastic playoff with eight points in eight games. He was really tailing off in the latter half, but has stepped up huge when it counts.
My John Druce pick for the playoffs, Chad LaRose, has seven points in eight games. I think he can get 40 next campaign.
I boldly stated in the January edition of Dobber Nation that Varlamov would be Washington's starting goalie next season and that he would rack up the wins. Clearly, it's happened even sooner than that and hopefully you were able to pick him up in time!
One of the best saves I've ever seen…
