Seidenberg Signs With Panthers

The Florida Panthers have signed defenseman Dennis Seidenberg to a one-year deal worth $2.25 million

Fantasy Impact: Don’t expect too much from Seidenberg. He has talent, but last year’s 70 games are a career high and his AHL games played record is spotty as well. However, his presence in the lineup will hurt Ville Koistenen, who stood to possibly blossom as a quarterback. That would seem doubtful now, not that it was all that optimistic in the first place. This should not affect the likes of Brian McCabe or Keith Ballard. If anything, it eases their workload a little and makes them better for it.
