Jeff Carter played less than 14 minutes last night, and was held without a point. Philadelphia is obviously going to slowly increase Carter’s ice time – the last thing they want is for him to re-aggrivate his injury.

Jordan Eberle was named CHL Player of the Year yesterday.

Not much going on in fantasy hockey these days… perfect time for another mailbag! Ask me your questions all day!

Dobber is back today – you know he'll be getting to work on the 2010 Prospect Report as soon as possible! The Report will be available for download on June 1st.

Michael Leighton tied an NHL record with his third shutout of the series last night against Montreal. It is a record shared by 14 goalies, most recently Marty Turco in 2007 against Vancouver (a series in which Dallas lost). How bad does that reflect on a team… three shutouts and you still lose the series?

I am working on a Ville Leino article right now. Does he have fantasy relevance moving forward, or is this strong playoff run just a fluke? What's your take? I’ll post it tomorrow morning.

Michael Neuvirth has led Hershey to their second consecutive Calder Cup finals appearance. The Bears defeated Jonathan Bernier's Manchester Monarchs in five games.

If you were an NHL GM, would you risk using a late first round pick on Kirill Kabanov? What about if you were Pittsburgh GM Ray Shero?

Vladimir Tarasekno this season – 13 goals and 24 points in 42 KHL games. Alex Ovechkin's draft year? 13 goals, 23 points. How about Malkin? Three goals and 12 points.

Of the three Russians (Tarasekno, Burmistrov, and Kabanov), how do you rank them? I like Burmistrov the most, but I have seen him play quite a bit more compared to the other two. Tarasenko is probably the most naturally skilled of the three, but is he as willing to put in the work to make the NHL?

Villie Leino scored a beauty last night. The assist from Pronger wasn't too bad either…
