Dobber here with a few things. I’m looking into the Twitter issue – the autofeeds work for the columns, but for the Ramblings it leads to a second click, which is annoying.

Also – this Monday, DobberBaseball is releasing the Baseball version of the Fantasy Prospects Report. I invite you all to go and have a look at the site, as we have stepped up our efforts and focus on that side of the Fantasy world.

And finally – The 2011 Midseason Fantasy Guide is up for Pre-Sale, as well as the 2011 Ultimate Fantasy Pack in the shop. I now have an OPTION to use Paypal directly, or credit card without Paypal – whatever you like (finally satisfying all customers!)

Where do I begin… storylines galore last night in the world of (fantasy) hockey!

Ryane Clowe had two helpers last night, which now gives him 10 points in six games. Like most 50-60 point players, expect some hot and cold streaks throughout the season.

It took Mike Ribeiro 17 games, but he has finally scored this season. Good things come in pairs – Ribeiro lit the lamp twice last night for the Stars.

I made some trades this summer that are looking awful right now – moving Stamkos was horrible, but moving Brad Richards isn’t looking great either. I was strong up the middle, but I didn’t expect him to be on a 105-point pace well into November.

Logan Couture has five goals and nine points in his past 10 – I like him a lot, but I questioned his one-year value because of the two centers ahead of him. He’s found a way to get some PP time, so I’d bump my projection up to the mid 50’s for him. Incredibly smart player.

Vesa Toskala managed to clone himself and start goal for both Philadelphia and Tampa Bay last night. That has to be a first.

Joking aside, Bobrovsky is obviously tired. This kind of game was bound to happen.

Stamkos had another monster game. The bar isn't just getting pushed higher, it's getting propelled up there. Five points, including three goals. Not surprisingly, Martin St. Louis had five helpers.

The Modano comparisons for Stamkos are pretty good… but how about a faster Brett Hull?

Ryan Malone had a goal and eight shots last night. He's struggled offensively this season – a decent buy-low candidate for one-year leagues.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this yesterday – remember the huge debate over which defenseman would replace Kurtis Foster's production on Tampa's top PP unit? How about no one.

Brett Clark leads the way with nine points in 19 games (not a bad pace at all, especially considering he was signed to be the sixth defenseman).

Zherdev is on the board, folks! The enigmatic Russian recorded two goals and his first assist of the season last night – his Cy Young bid just took a major hit.

James van Riemsdyk had a helper, but he played only six minutes. One-year leagues – avoid.

With Giguere out with an injury, Gustavsson stepped in and stepped up – 41 saves against the Devils last night. He's a very skilled goalie, but too many times last season he would flop around and overplay on passes and shots.

Brodeur left the game after two because of Ilya Kovalchuk. Actually, his elbow injury flared up again. Doesn't sound too serious, but you never know.

Kris Versteeg scored again last night, and he is now playing the point on Toronto's PP unit.

I wonder how good Tavares would be doing if he played on a line with St. Louis? Food for thought.

Cal O'Reilly and Steve Sullivan have great chemistry going in Nashville right now.

Pekka Rinne has had a bit of an up-and-down season, but he looked great last night blanking the Habs. Both Dobber and I had high expectations for him coming into this season.

Milan Lucic had a hat trick as well last night (this really is the season of the hat trick). He is really clicking on a line with Horton and Bergeron. What happens when Krejci returns and when/if Savard returns?

The 0-4-1 Tuukka Rask (before last night) notched his first win of the season with a brilliant 41-save shutout. Just as Justin Goldman has been saying… patience is a virtue. Last season wasn't a fluke for Rask.

“Tuukka Rask was our power-play problem. It wasn’t our power play,” Florida coach Peter DeBoer said.

Games played will be tough with Thomas around, but there is no reason to sell low on Rask.

Bruins fans booed Dennis Wideman… not really sure why. He not only played pretty decently for them, but he fetched them Horton.

David Booth had an impressive 14 shots on goal last night.

Johnny Boychuk, he of the huge slap shot and even huger body checks, returned from injury last night. He's a sleeper for 30+ points if he sees PP time with Chara on the top unit.

If you live in the Lower Mainland, make sure you clear your schedule for the evening of Thursday, December 9th. Dobber is flying out from the Center of the Hockey Universe (close enough), and he will be joining me for beer, prizes, and hockey chat at the River Rock Casino and Resort in Richmond, BC (just over the bridge from Vancouver).

There will be some terrific prizes as well at the event. Post in the comments or fire me an e-mail if you are thinking of attending!
