Penner to the Kings

Fantasy Impact: The Los Angeles Kings have acquired forward Dustin Penner from the Edmonton Oilers for Colten Teubert, a 2011 first-round draft pick and a conditional third-round pick in 2012 (could be a second).
The Kings get: a second-line forward who is huge, but plays soft. He has underrated hands for a big man and is definitely that second-line presense that they needed.
The Oilers get: one of the top defensemen prospects out there. Teubert is a big, solid stay-at-home type who is about two years away. They also get two very quality draft picks and shed a ton of salary.
Fantasy Players Impacted: Penner will get an immediate look on the first line and if he clicks with Kopitar, he will produce at a career rate. If he doesn’t click, then he’s back to the second line and will produce as we’ve already seen in Edmonton. Little risk/high reward. He knocks Brad Richardson down the depth chart.
In Edmonton, pick your young winger – Linus Omark, Magnus Paajarvi…more ice time for them. Furthermore, Teubert makes the NHL about a year sooner than he would have in LA.
Fantasy Players this helps, in order:
1. Penner
2. Omark
3. Paajarvi
4. Anze Kopitar
Fantasy Players this hurts, in order:
1. Brad Richardson
2. Ryan Smyth
