An interview with Peter Mueller by Adrian Dater. Mueller has so much offensive upside, I really hope he can get the concussion issues behind him. He'd likely skate on the top unit with Duchene and Hejduk/Jones.

I'd put Landeskog with Stastny. Colorado's top six has the potential to be pretty good, but aside from the two centers, it features a rookie and three injury prone wingers. Risky to say the least.

Nothing earth shattering from this NHL.com piece on the Blues, but I agree with the gist of it – the Blues are ready to make some noise out West.

Eric Fehr is likely to miss the first bit of the season after surgery back in May. A read on the surgery at the time – right here. Fehr's absence opens up a top six spot in Winnipeg, and it may mean Nik Antropov slides over to the right wing on the second line.

A great read on Tim Thomas. Some interesting quotes regarding how draining the cup run and offseason has been – fuel for Tuukka Rask to take back his starting spot. It won't be an even split, but Rask is going to play a lot for a "number two" goaltender.

Fantasy Guide was updated on August 23rd. The Goalie Rankings will be updated as soon as Goalie Post subscriptions go on sale – which should be by the end of this week or Monday at the latest.

I contributed towards the Canucks Annual that will hit newsstands in September in Vancouver and surrounding areas. The guide is also available at Maple Street Press.

Jewels from the Crown (a great Kings blog) with their thoughts on LA's lineup:

Penner/Kopitar/Williams

Gagne/Richards/Brown

Moreau/Stoll/Lewis

Clifford/Richardson/Parse

I'd swap Moreau and Parse and find a way to get Loktionov in there. but where does he fit? I'm expecting Kopitar to approach 90 points this season. I like Richards for 75-80, as well. I think the two will click very well together on the top power play unit. LA has a very nice looking team.

Kris Letang getting his beast on with some off-season training – those split squats with a weight vest are brutal:
