Challenge Dobber, Angus, Laidlaw, Miller and the rest of the writing crew by picking the better single-day fantasy team. SATURDAY April 27 at 3PM – win your share of

$300…details below.

If you haven’t heard yet, there's a new way to play fantasy hockey that turns the season-long grind into quick-hitting one-night leagues. And you can win cash just as easily. Draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion:

A FREE one-day fantasy league – for Saturday’s games – with $300 in prizes exclusively for DobberHockey readers.

You read the likes of myself, Angus and the rest of the DobberHockey crew and perhaps you think “Man, I’d love to take them on in a fantasy league. I’d hand their ass back to them!” Well, not it’s time to prove it. Here’s your chance. Friday’s games, you pick your team, we’ll pick ours. Takes two minutes. Though, you’d be advised to put more thought into it than that if you want to take on the likes of me. Win bragging rights. Oh…and also cash!

This free contest will be salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 LW, 2 RW, 2 C, 2 D, 1 G, and a FLEX. Each NHL player has been allocated a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Saturday, April 27th at 3:00pm ET at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

CLICK HERE to sign up for free by Tuesday and join the DobberHockey $300 Freeroll on DraftStreet.com. And don’t feel ashamed if you end up seeing your name far below that of mine. But hey, feel proud of your participation ribbon…
