Another week and another Detroit Red Wings hits the injury report. More updates below.


EASTERN CONFERENCE

 

Johnny Boychuk (lower body) skated on Thursday and is still questionable for Friday.


Michal Neuvirth (lower body) will start Sunday for the Buffalo Sabres when they face off against the Vancouver Canucks.


Jhonas Enroth (leg) not traveling with the Sabres on current five-game road trip.


Tyler Myers (elbow) expected to miss at least another week.


Alexander Sulzer (upper body) will miss at least one week due to his injury.


Jiri Tlusty (lower body) missed Tuesday's game but may return later in the week.


John-Michael Liles (concussion) returned to practice on Monday wearing a non-contact jersey.


Joni Pitkanen (heel) is hoping to make a return to the NHL but there is still no timetable as of yet.


Jonathan Ericsson (finger) will be out at least two weeks with a broken finger.


Justin Abdelkader (leg) will be out up to two weeks with a leg laceration.


Tomas Jurco (ribs) will miss the next few weeks with broken ribs.


Darren Helm (concussion) is getting better each day and headaches are becoming less and less. He is back practicing.


Daniel Cleary (knee) skated prior to morning skate on Thursday.


Pavel Datsyuk (knee) started the third week of his shutdown on Wednesday; he could be back one week from now.


Stephen Weiss (groin) is going for another opinion on his groin.


Alex Petrovic (upper body) was placed on IR on Sunday with an upper body injury.


Jonathan Huberdeau (upper body) is doubtful for the rest of the road trip


Jesse Winchester (lower body) will miss the next few weeks.


Erik Gudbranson (knee) will miss the next few weeks.


Brandon Prust (upper body) left morning skate after about 10 minutes on the ice.


Michael Grabner (concussion) has no timetable on his return.


Nathan Lawson (lower body) is doubtful to play Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.


Craig Anderson (shoulder) is not ready to return to action on Thursday.


Kris Letang (illness) has been cleared for full practice.


Beau Bennett (wrist) has been cleared for full practice.


Paul Ranger (undisclosed) was discharged from the hospital Wednesday night.


Jonathan Bernier (groin) had an MRI on Monday and is day-to-day with a low-grade groin strain.


Brooks Laich (groin) will be out four to six weeks after a procedure to release a tight adductor muscle.

 

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Matt Beleskey (illness) will miss Thursday's game against the San Jose Sharks.


Nick Bonino (lower body) will not play Thursday's game against the Sharks.


Cam Fowler (knee) will miss three to five weeks with a sprained MCL.


Markus Granlund (shoulder) should be back before the NHL season is over and will likely be assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) for playoffs.


Jiri Hudler (lower body) is confirmed to return on Friday.


Karri Ramo (knee) took part fully in practice on Thursday.


Patrick Kane (lower body) will miss three weeks due to a leg injury.


Michal Rozsival (lower body) will likely miss a few games due to a lower body injury.


Brandon Saad (upper body) missed Wednesday's game and will be a game-time decision for Friday.


John Mitchell (back) was taken to the hospital for x-rays on his back; still waiting on the results.


P.A. Parenteau (knee) will miss at least four weeks with a knee injury.


Shawn Horcoff (upper body) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.


Rich Peverley (heart) underwent successful surgery to correct an abnormal heart rhythm.


Matt Hendricks (leg) is questionable for Thursday's game.


Jordan Eberle (knee) won't need an MRI and skated by himself prior to practice.


Nail Yakupov (ankle) will not play on Thursday; missing his second straight.


Jesse Joensuu (ankle) has a high ankle sprain and will miss at least four weeks.


Dustin Brown (lower body) is a game-time decision for Thursday's game.


Jason Zucker (knee) reaggravated knee injury and is likely out for the season.


Keith Ballard (lower body) won't play Thursday.


Raffi Torres (knee) was out for the start of practice on Wednesday morning and could play Thursday.


Brad Stuart (upper body) took part in the morning skate and is progressing towards a return.


Tomas Hertl (knee) still not close to returning.


Vladimir Tarasenko (hand) will miss at least six weeks with a hand injury.


Jordan Leopold (ankle) has received the green light and would have played against the Chicago Blackhawks if he hadn't have gotten sick.


Chris Tanev (hand) will miss the rest of the regular season with a broken finger.


Zach Bogosian (upper body) was a late scratch for Wednesday's game and should be ready to return on Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes.


Jim Slater (lower body) remains day-to-day.


Dustin Byfuglien (lower body) is day-to-day with a lower body injury.


Chris Thorburn (foot) is out indefinitely with a broken foot.


Ondrej Pavelec (lower body) remains day-to-day.
