The Leafs get: Stalock, who has the unenviable task of manning the crease with Jonathan Bernier for whatever’s left over in Toronto for the 2015-16 season. Smith, who may receive some playing time among the Toronto Marlies-level forwards that currently occupy the Leafs’ roster.

He is the player to watch in this deal and is now a necessary handcuff for Jones owners in whichever leagues he is available.
