Keeping Karlsson no. 158 – Almost Not Preseason
Elan Dubrofsky
2017-10-03
This is it– the final preseason episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast!! Elan and Brian couldn't be more excited about it, and being closer to 2017-18 faceoff than ever, the guys feel ready to take seriously some of the line combo and deployment situations from the final minutes of exhibition play.
They've also got tidbits from their drafts to share about under/overappreciated players, and run down a whole list of bubble guys that may or may not be worth taking a swing on late in a draft or as an early free agent acquisition.
For some free bonus content, we livestreamed the Keeping Karlsson Ultimate Patron Fantasy League's Tier 1 Auction Draft! We laughed, we cried, we bid too much on Ben Bishop. Listen here, and see the results here.
Also, we're having a Season 5 Launch Party in Toronto on Oct. 14th! Join us by RSVPing here.
Oh and one last thing: Take on Elan and Brian in FanDuel's Daily Fantasy contests all season long, running each and every Thursday.
Players discussed on this episode include Jaromir Jagr, Shayne Gostisbehere, Patrick Eaves, Michael Ferland, Ivan Provorov, Robby Fabbri, Alex Steen, Vladimir Sobotka, Brayden Schenn, Dmitri Jaskin, Jesse Puljujarvi, Kailer Yamamoto, Ryan Strome, Anders Bjork, Clayton Keller, Alex DeBrincat, Jakub Vrana, Mathieu Perreault, Brendan Gallagher, Sean Couturier, Jason Pominville, Vladislav Namestnikov, Zach Hyman, Scott Hartnell, Jake Guentzel, Timo Meier, Kevin Fiala and more.
