how come boris katchouk never recieves any love, meanwhile frost is way up this list.

    • Dobber 2017-12-13 at 14:29

It’s nothing personal Simon. I’m sorry. Sometimes, I just don’t know about a prospect’s good season. With over 900 players on my template, a guy can get missed. I spent over 12 hours on this month’s update and still missed him. But by February/March I like to think I’ve caught everyone.

I looked up Katchouk and have him 416th, which is way low. My notes have him as a two-way guy, four years out, 70% NHL certainty and 62-point upside. With the year he’s having I’ll adjust to 3.5, 72% and 68-pt. That moves him into the top 230. I’ll keep an eye out for him next month.

In the future, if you see a guy I might have missed, feel free to say “hey, Player X is having a great year, you may want to take a closer look if you haven’t already”. We’re all in this together. Group-think on these rankings! I can use all the help I can get.

      • Simon 2017-12-13 at 22:54

appreciate the explanation and maybe not looking at the whole scope of things. Do appreciate what you do though, keep up the good work!

  3. SavardianSpin 2017-12-13 at 20:28

Where would you rank Aleksi Heponiemi? Leading the entire CHL in scoring, over a ppg as a rookie last year, and driving Steenbergen’s (who snuck into the rankings this month) goal scoring.

    • Dobber 2017-12-13 at 22:14

He’s ranked 221 – his scoring pace is insane! Next month he’ll be top 150.
