Here are the Top 50 prospect defensemen to own in your fantasy hockey keeper leagues – August edition!

 

This month's prospect list is adjusted based on any relation it had with the players on the overall Top 300 skaters list. It does take a small influence from the values in that list because prospects who can help immediately or who have higher upside have more value. And since those are the guys who tend to make that Top 300 list – there is a relation. On August 1, the Top 300 was fully audited thanks to the release of the Fantasy Guide and the analysis therein. So in a roundabout way, the work on the Fantasy Guide led to some tweaks in this here list.
