Top 100 Roto Rankings – March 2020

Ian Gooding

2020-03-15

The coronavirus has halted the season at a point where fantasy teams are doing whatever it takes to compete for a title. Before the NHL decided to suspend operations, I'll share what I had planned to write for March:

"Now that we are into the final month of the season, benches will get shortened for teams that are still competing for a fantasy title. So use these rankings with a grain of salt, as your universe of available players expands based on specific category or scheduling needs. In other words, more players become worth an add, while certain injured or slumping studs might be worth moving on from in order to meet more immediate concerns."

Although we don't know what's in store and when NHL hockey will return, treat these rankings as though regular-season games will be rescheduled at some point. If and when games are rescheduled, take the above paragraph into account.

Also keep in mind that the injured players dropped from this list this month and in previous months may make their returns to the list. These returns are now more of a possibility now that the season has been delayed.

Keep in mind that these are single-season rankings for a head-to-head or rotisserie league using the following settings: G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, HIT, W, GAA, SV%. In other words, this list is focused on the 2019-20 season, but not beyond. This list could also be used by keeper owners with a "win now" mentality.
