If Game 2 of the Battle of Alberta is anything like Game 1, you'll want to take the over and there should be plenty of opportunities for anytime points from a number of players. Out East, the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers don't figure to light the lamp as often as their Western counterparts, but that series should still provide some interesting options to chew on.  

Here are a few player props to consider while you enjoy the action:

Odds from DraftKings as of Friday afternoon

Connor McDavid over 1.5 assists (+160)

It's certainly a bit of a gamble predicting a multi-point game for someone, but McDavid is no ordinary player. Based on Wednesday's 9-6 scoreline and the 9-5 score the last time these teams met in the regular season, this series appears to be headed for wide open play and lots of goals, which obviously plays right into McDavid's hands. The Edmonton Oilers superstar had three assists in Game 1 and has at least two assists in five out of eight games in these playoffs. Despite being one of the best defensive teams in the league, the Flames have struggled defending McDavid all season, as he also recorded two assists in two of the four regular season meetings versus Calgary.

Tony DeAngelo over 0.5 power play points (+215)

DeAngelo already has four power play points in the playoffs and based on the matchup, he's a good bet to add to that Friday. The Rangers penalty kill is only clicking at 75% in the postseason, ranking sixth out of the eight teams remaining. DeAngelo should also be due to find the scoresheet after not registering a point in his past three games, as the blueliner did not go four straight games without a point all season.

Antti Raanta under under 2.5 goals (-130)

Raanta has been lights out at home so far this postseason and expect another decent showing Friday. The Hurricanes netminder hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game at home all playoffs and in four of the five games he allowed one goal or less. Carolina plays with a great structure and New York has found it challenging to solve it even dating back to the regular season, as the Rangers managed just five goals in two games on the road versus the Hurricanes earlier in the year.

Matthew Tkachuk over 2.5 shots (-160)

Tkachuk had a slow start to the playoffs, but has really turned it on in the past two games. He has five points in the past two outings, culminating with a hat-trick in Game 1 against the Oilers and it's his shooting that's leading to the increased production. After not registering more than three shots in a game in his first six postseason contests, Tkachuk now has 14 shots in his past two. Edmonton didn't seem to have an answer for Tkachuk's line in Game 1, so hitting three shots Friday shouldn't be an issue for the Flames forward.
