Ramblings: Klefbom, Vermette, Miller, Guentzel and more (Feb. 15) *** J.T. Miller is on his second seven-game point streak of the season. Between he, Kevin Hayes and Chris Kreider all breaking out at the same time, the Rangers have completely compensated for the decline of Rick Nash and Henrik Lundqvist. * Evgeni Malkin returned last [...]
Ramblings: Barrie returns, Price flounders, Labanc’s linemates and more (Feb 13) *** Tyson Barrie was back in the lineup for Colorado and despite that, Mark Barberio still saw the most PP time (3:10). Barberio has two points in five games since being traded to the Avs, with just five shots on goal, so he’s running [...]

He’s expected back in time for training camp – so you know when they add that little note, it’s pretty damn serious. Fabbri was having a great [...]

Ramblings: The injured return…and made an impact. Breaking it down (Feb 1) *** Lots of games, lots of players back from injury, some interesting repercussions so let’s get to it. Be forewarned that I won’t even get to half of what I’d like to – it would need to be a pretty huge Ramblings to [...]
Ramblings: Dobber’s proposal for future Skills Competition; Opening up the Twitter mailbag… *** First, some non-fantasy hockey stuff. My thoughts on the NHL All-Star weekend. I think the surrounding hype and fan-friendly events leading up to Sunday was fantastic. I also think the NHL nailed the ASG format. Love it. Three-on-three action was enjoyable, and [...]
