Reimer Swimming to the Sharks

Fantasy Impact: The San Jose Sharks acquire goalie James Reimer and forward Jeremy Morin from the Toronto Maple Leafs for goalie Alex Stalock, forward Ben Smith, and a fourth-round pick in the 2018 draft.
The Sharks get: Reimer, who may seem like a backup on the surface, but has the ability to push Martin Jones for playing time. Morin, who will provide the Sharks with some potential bottom-6 forward depth as they push for the playoffs.
The Leafs get: Stalock, who has the unenviable task of manning the crease with Jonathan Bernier for whatever’s left over in Toronto for the 2015-16 season. Smith, who may receive some playing time among the Toronto Marlies-level forwards that currently occupy the Leafs’ roster.
Fantasy Players Impacted: Oft-criticized in the most intense media market in the NHL, Reimer may use this as an opportunity for a fresh start on a better team in a more relaxed market. He is the player to watch in this deal and is now a necessary handcuff for Jones owners in whichever leagues he is available.

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – The Wilkes-Jarry Penguins
Elizabeth and Lewis are back to take listeners through a host of power play changes that are giving managers the opportunity to get exposure to great players off the waiver wire, including Philly, Jersey, and Tampa talk.
