Q: How do you know it's spring?

A: 'Cause the Leafs are out!

(I apologize, I simply must do that joke every year)

ATTENTION: Final draft list is complete and is sent out to everyone. THREE emails bounced back. Those people will need to contact me. Also – you can change your picks and re-run the program as often as you would like.

For those of you that keep asking for my picks – you will have all the DobberHockey staff give their picks in an article on Monday. Including mine.

Kevin Bieksa was seen after yesterday's game wearing a walking leg cast. It was just a precautionairy measure by the Canucks and he will be ready for Game 1 on Wednesday.

Ryan Craig missed his second contest with a sprained knee, but should be back in time for the playoffs.

It's terrible that the Avs blew a 2-1 lead in the middle of the third last night. With Calgary losing, it would have been a phenomenal game tonight between the two teams.

Nasty rumor: the Devils, content with their playoff spot secure and Brodeur's record for wins in a season already established, may start Scott Clemmensen today. The Islanders would love that. The Leafs – not so much.

Ville Peltonen had six points in his last two games and 12 in his last 11. I think he'll get 55+ points next year, which would be quite useful in deep pools.

Note to playoff poolies: Ryane Clowe of San Jose is pointless in his last 10 games. The acquisition of Bill Guerin (despite the latter's absence from the lineup currently with a groin injury) hurt Clowe the most.

Brian Gionta could return to action today after missing time with a sore foot.

Tomas Vokoun will be the starter for the Preds in the playoffs. Not really a surprise, despite how great Mason has been.

The Kings have played their final regular season game. Anze Kopitar hit the 20-goal mark, Mike Cammalleri hit the 80-point mark (wow) and Dustin Brown had 14 points in his last 12 games. I really like this team for next year if they can get a goalie. Two years tops. Kopitar, by the way, scored the first and last goals of the season for LA.

Todd Bertuzzi missed yesterday's contest with a sort neck and a slight concussion, but it sounds like it was precautionary and should not impact your playoff draft. Nik Lidstrom was back in the lineup after missing a game. With Bertuzzi gone, you'll notice that names like Calder, Samuelsson and Cleary reappeared on the scoresheet.

Speaking of Samuelsson, he had a five-point game on Saturday. If the game meant something and was against a decent opponent, I might be impressed enough to consider him on my fantasy squad. It didn't, it didn't, and I don't.

It is possible that Brett Hedican's hip will force him to retire. Glen Wesley is another Carolina retirement candidate.

It turns out that Stanislav Chistov had been playing on a bad knee since January. He will undergo surgery on it. Unfortunately, this means that I have to (once again) stick Chistov in as a dark horse one more time next season. Although my patience has pretty much worn thin on the guy.
