Joe Sakic signed on with the Avs for another season. Atta boy Joe!

ATTENTION: Final draft list is complete and is sent out to everyone. THREE emails bounced back. Those people will need to contact me. Also – you can change your picks and re-run the program as often as you would like.

Disappointed to inform you that I finished fourth in the ICE Experts League. I have never been lower than fourth all season long, and I was actually first throughout October, November and February. Injuries took me down in December and half of January, and they took me down again in March. Ales Hemsky crapping out on me at the end didn't help either. Scott Cullen of TSN.ca won the pool. Our good friend Gus Katsaros of McKeens finished second with a nice little comeback. Michael Finewax of Rotoworld finished third. After me, in order: Fanball, FantasyHockey.com, Rotopass, Yahoo! Sports, Dan Dobish of CBS Sportsline, Rotowire, Talented Mr. Roto (the host of the pool) and Sportsblurb.com.

Cam Barker left the last game of the season with a shoulder injury. Already in his young career he is establishing himself as a Band-Aid Boy. Despite his potential, if someone in your keeper league is hot for him and willing to pay a decent price – take the deal.

Jarome missed yesterday's meaningless game because of an illness. He'll be fine for the playoffs.

Both Todd Bertuzzi and Henrik Zetterberg will be in the Detroit lineup on Wednesday to start the playoffs. Zetterberg remains a risk to miss the odd game this postseason, but would still make a good pick if you like them to get by CGY.

Kevin Bieksa's X-rays were negative, so the walking cast truly was precautionary, and not just the team blowing smoke.

The Sharks had the best road record in the NHL. The Preds have the fourth-best home record. It should be an interesting series.

Still no decision on Rick DiPietro's availability.

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – The Wilkes-Jarry Penguins

Elizabeth and Lewis are back to take listeners through a host of power play changes that are giving managers the opportunity to get exposure to great players off the waiver wire, including Philly, Jersey, and Tampa talk. They also cover Jarry’s AHL demotion, Cooley’s ascension to the top-line and powerplay, and injuries to Tavares and Hintz. The duo wrap up with some hot and cold streak deep dives, including discussion of the Red Wings crazy powerplay success in the last ten games, whether Erik Gustafsson is rosterable or an overperforming illusion, Fantilli’s continued success, Merilainen as Hamburglar 2.0, and whether Schenn’s success and Neighbours’ lack thereof are likely to continue.
