Check out the "Other" section of the forum for details on an opening in a very serious keeper league

Alexei Yashin played just 7:07 yesterday and is firmly entrenched in Ted Nolan's doghouse. The Isles won without him, so that does not necessarily have to change.

Rick DiPietro returned yesterday and put on a clinic, leading the Isles to victory over the NHL's top team. An upset in this series would wipeout 80 per cent of hockey pool teams in the playoffs.

Olli Jokinen and Mike Van Ryn will both undergo wrist surgery on Monday. Jokinen could not have had a better season this year – he was fantastic. However, Van Ryn was struggling all season long and this wrist problem was a key factor. I still like him for 45 points, although he may need to be moved to another team with Bouwmeester, Salei and newly-signed Patrick Murphy all possibly ahead of him for power play time.

Steve Avery had 16 shots in the first two games of the series. He has two points so far playing on a line with Brendan Shanahan.

Karel Rachunek is questionable for Tuesday's contest.

Georges Laraque was a healthy scratch yesterday in favor of Ronald Petrovicky.

Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
