Alexander Ovechkin was ejected from yesterday's IIHF game against Switzerland for  a high hit on a Swiss player. He has been suspended for one additional contest, and the board will be reviewing it on Monday to determine whether further suspension is warranted.

Tuuka Rask signed a three-year entry level deal with the Bruins yesterday. Expect a year of seasoning in the AHL before he takes a crack at the big club.

Canada will play USA at the Worlds on Monday.

In practice, Marcel Hossa was demoted to the fourth line, Straka bumped up to the top line, and Nigel Dawes played with Shanahan and Avery. You may see Ryan Callahan scratched.

In a harmless looking play, Mathieu Schneider sustained a broken wrist and will be out for the remainder of the playoffs. Brett Lebda, however, is now healed from his sprained ankle and will step back into the lineup.
