The Sens fired John Muckler and hired Bryan Murray. The hunt is on for a new coach. Personally, I thought Murray was a good fit as a coach, so any coach they find will be a downgrade.
Petr Tenkrat has signed a deal to play in Sweden next year. If he gets an NHL contract, he can get out of the deal. He won't get an NHL contract, so enjoy the meatballs!
Mike Milbury is on the list of candidates that the Bruins are considering to be their coach. No, that is not a typo.
Count the L.A. Kings among teams interested in signing Briere. Although I don't think it fits in with their rebuilding plan, I don't think they would argue if Briere wanted to go there…
The Oilers are interested in signing Tom Priessing or trading to acquire Wade Redden.
Nathan Horton can be added to the list that includes Tomas Vanek of players that could receive offer sheets from other teams as RFA's.
The Toronto Sun is speculating that Los Angeles is the perfect place for Alexei Yashin. I still say Russia.
