Steve Sullivan is still recovering from June back surgery and may not be fully ready for camp. He will still participate in camp, but may not be taking hits to start. Be cautious with him and watch his progress in September.
Patrik Stefan has signed a contract to play with SC Bern in Switzerland next season.
Defenseman Mike Weber has signed an entry level deal with the Sabres. He will not be on the team this year.
Peter Forsberg's agent has stated that he will not make a decision to retire or sign for months. The consensus out there is that he will decide in December and not before.
Mike Peca should sign with the Rangers within the next week. They're just ironing out his role with the team, he's talking with Tom Renney about it. It would surprise me if he does not sign.
