Hockey pool announcement in the forum.
Invitations to the DobberHockey pool – Entry Division – have been sent to the 12 winners.
Steve Sullivan plans on playing 280 of the next 300 games. That is how confident he is that his back surgery was a success and he will come back 100 per cent. He wants to be considered for team captain.
Martin Erat's knee is now 100 per cent and he is looking forward to having a big year.
Daniel Corso has signed to play in the RSL next season.
Mike Johnson has also reportedly approached the Oilers. Like Anson Carter before him, he has reportedly been rebuffed. The Oilers are leaning towards giving the second line job to Robert Nilsson. It looks like it's his to lose.
The Leafs are talking like Pavel Kubina will bounce back. I think he won't. If he doesn't, a midseason demotion to the Marlies is in the cards. Such a move would save the team's cap space millions.
