Reports out of Los Angeles indicate that Ladislav Nagy will be a healthy scratch tonight.

Jaroslav Spacek left the game late in the third last night with a shoulder injury. No information is out on how serious, but the team hopes he will play on Thursday. Thanks to everyone who sent me the link.

Thanks to Pete for the info: Hossa will be back in the lineup for Atlanta tonight. The rookie line of Haydar, Sterling and Little will remain together.

Randy Robitaille has signed with the Sens.He needs to clear waivers first though. If you remember, the Coyotes signed Vladimir Orszagh a month into the season and then the Blues grabbed him off waivers before he could ever play for Phoenix (bet the 'Yotes are happy with that now). I have a feeling he'll get scooped. If not, he'll be a 40-point guy in Ottawa and should make an impact early as he tries to impress his new team.

Looking Ahead has been updated.

Zidlicky and Suter have the most ice time amongst rearguards in Nashville, but it's Dan Hamhuis who has six points in five games.

Five games into the season and only four Blackhawks have more than one point. Their goaltenders have a 1.76 GAA – could this be Chicago's philosophy now?

The Kings have assigned Brady Murray to Manchester of the AHL.

Todd Marchant missed last night's contest with a bone bruise in his foot. He is day to day.

Nik Antropov has six points in his last three games and nine on the season. He is also a plus-9 with 19 shots and 24 PIMs in seven games. I don't know if there's been a better player for roto-leagues this season.

Mason Raymond was a healthy scratch for the third time in six games yesterday.

Lukas Krajicek missed the game with a foot injury. Alexander Edler was recalled to replace him.

Mathieu Schneider is still in a boot, but he is walking around and showing progress. No timetable for his return.

Mikael Samuelsson (groin) plans to skate in practice on Wednesday.

Jonathan Cheechoo finally picked up his first two points of the season yesterday. He was put back onto Thornton's line after three shifts off it.

Curtis Brown was a healthy scratch for the Sharks.

Freddy Meyer left the Coyotes yesterday to be with his wife, who is expecting their first child. They don't know the gender of the child…but he says if it's a boy he'll be Freddy V!

Jared Boll (shoulder) said he expected to be cleared to play Wednesday vs. Dallas

Mike Peca is now auditioning as the No.1 center in Columbus. I could have told you that would happen a month ago. Everyone will get an opportunity to try there. Their best bet is Brassard, but it seems that he is a last resort.

Rene Bourque will miss about a week with his groin injury.

After missing two games with a hip injury, Leopold will return to the lineup tonight against his old mates the Flames.

Peter Budaj will get the start tonight.

Avalanche prospect Ryan Stoa, drafted second in 2005, is out for the college season with Minnesota after having surgery on a knee he injured Saturday.

New Jersey tough guy Cam Janssen will be out for three months after shoulder surgery.

Nicklas Bergfors, who hurt his shoulder in his NHL debut, practiced yesterday and is hopeful he will play soon.

Alexander Semin skated for 15 minutes yesterday before heading off. He is doubtful for Thursday now with his sprained ankle.

Todd Bertuzzi was placed on the IR by the Ducks with a concussion. He will be out for at least seven days.

The Sens recalled Ray Emery from his conditioning assignment in the AHL. He gave up six goals in two games and was 1-1 for Binghamton. He will start either Thursday or Saturday.

Mats Sundin and Tomas Steen were each minus-4 when the Leafs blew the game last night.

One game after giving up 52 shots to Pittsburgh, the Leafs gave up 42 to Buffalo. If your league counts shots…start activating players who play the Leafs!

The Flyers have recalled Stefan Ruzicka from the Phantoms. He had eight points in five AHL games.

For those one or two poolies out there who own Brooks Orpik in their league – he will play in Wednesday's game against NJ as the results were negative when they tested for a concussion.

Dominik Hasek has so far been outplayed by Chris Osgood this season. Hasek stopped just 23 of 28 last night.

The shift charts are still not back on NHL.com. Let's keep the emails rolling! I can give you a lot more information in my daily ramblings if the shift charts were back – and you can find out a lot of info yourself.  Visit this page and then click "contact us" at the bottom. Tell them that you need the shift charts back and why. Already, dozens of readers have done this, but we need all the help we can get. LINK
