"A Roto-Look Ahead" has been updated. It is a great tool for those in weekly roto leagues, in terms of giving you an idea as to which teams have an easy schedule in the coming week versus which teams to steer clear of.

Henrik Lundqvist is the latest flu victim. He has lost three of his last four games and the flu-bug probably won't help any.

Jaromir Jagr has been playing with a stiff/sore back. He is only on pace for just over 60 points and this would explain part of the reason.

Dick Tarnstrom is ready to return to the lineup, but the Oilers are winning so they don't want to put him in and disrupt the chemistry.

Don't look now, but Ales Hemsky is indeed a superstar. He has points in 10 of his last 11 games, and 14 points in that span. Still just 24, he is a future 90- or 100-point stud. I was starting to question that with his start to the year following last year's flop. Sometimes it's hard to remember his youth since he has been in the league for so long.

Raffi Torres suffered a knee injury Thursday and will likely miss today's game. Look for Geoff Sanderson to draw back in.

Paul Martin is questionable for today's game against Phoenix. He is suffering from various small injuries.
The Devils moved Parise off the line with Elias and Gionta, and stuck Zajac there. Elias is back on the left side.

Martin Erat's neck strain will keep him out of another game. They recalled Antti Pihlstrom from Milwaukee, but hope Erat can play on Monday. Pihlstrom is a goal-scorer, but I don't see huge upside for him. He ranks about 280 on the Prospects List

Fredrik Norrena will get the start today.

David Vyborny's hip and Fredrik Modin's back will keep them out of the lineup until the New Year.

Matt Cullen has 33 points in 33 games this season. I see him at 65 points on the year, by far a career high and a definite 'sell-high' candidate.

Tyler Arnason missed Thursday's contest with what is thought to be a broken wrist. If it is broken, expect him out until February. We will know more soon.

Joe Sakic will be out for at least one more week with his groin injury.

Mike Ribeiro had a four-point night last game and has seven points in his last three games. He is on pace for 85, which is high, but I would still expect him to clear 70 and flirt with 75 in what is definitely a breakout year for the skilled forward. Treat him like a 70-point guy in trade talks, unless you own him (then you would treat him like an 85-point guy of course!)

Antti Miettinen has five points in the two games since his groin injury and seven points in his last four games overall. The 27-year-old is a supplemental player at best – much like Jere Lehtinen in terms of offense. He is a 40-point guy tops, unless he clicks on the top line. He is doing that now. Lehtinen's career high points per game was 0.70 and that is about what I see from Miettinen if he stays on a big line.

Michel Ouellet's dislocated shoulder will put him on the shelf until the end of January.

The Flyers returned Ryan Potulny to the Phantoms of the AHL.

It is looking as if Simon Gagne could be back around Christmas. He is getting closer.

Chris Clark's groin injury will keep him out for at least another week, likely longer. Michael Nylander (shoulder) was back in the lineup last night.

Brent Johnson will start for the Caps today against Tampa Bay.

Sidney Crosby took a shot off the foot Thursday and his foot has swelled up a bit and is sore. It will not keep him out of the lineup, but he will not be 100%

Sergei Gonchar missed practice yesterday because of an illness.

Andrei Kostitsyn and Guillaume Latendresse both missed practice yesterday with injuries. Kostitsyn's is his knee, Latendresse's is undisclosed. They are questionable for today.

Khabibulin will start for the hawks today, Lalime will start tomorrow.

Alexander Frolov will return to the lineup today. Labarbera is getting closer.

Mikael Tellqvist will get the start today.

Cory Murphy is still day to day with his shoulder injury. He literally could play next game and it wouldn't surprise me, or he could be gone another month and it wouldn't surprise me. The Panthers aren't really saying…
