Vesa Toskala has re-injured his groin. Big changes are afoot in Toronto – I live here, I know. Radio/TV and newspapers are buzzing like never before.

The Leafs recalled Justin Pogge and he may get the start Saturday against the Sharks. They also claimed Dominic Moore off of waivers. They already have Dominic Moore though, except his name is Boyd Devereaux. And John Pohl. And Chad Kilger. Now they'll make the playoffs.

Michael Nylander practiced as usual today. Perhaps the below only is a rumor after all. Still, because his shoulder has been troubling him all season long, there has to be something up.

From the Miami Herald: Florida's defensemen have been battling injuries all season, although Martin said good news regarding Cory Murphy (shoulder) could be coming soon. ''I think he's feeling better,'' Martin said.

JP over at Japer's Rink tells me that the hot rumor in Washington is how the Caps are tight-lipped about the fact that Michael Nylander has a torn rotator cuff and may be out for the rest of the season. Keep in mind this is just a rumor, but it's serious enough that I would be quietly shopping Nylander around – quickly. In 12 or 24 hours, it may not be possible to trade him at all.

I mentioned the other day that the Wild would need to waive or trade someone to make room for the return of Koivu. They have waived Dominic Moore.

Nik Zherdev (quad) says that he will be ready to go tonight after all. Keep him in the lineup.

Pascal Leclaire will get the start in goal tonight for Columbus.

No respect – Ribeiro did not make the All-Star game. Neither did Patrick Kane or Kristian Huselius.
Jonathan Toews is hoping to be back after the All-Star break from his knee injury.

Nik Antropov's goal was his first point in 11 games.

Jozef Stumpel and Richard Zednik are pointless in seven contests.

Everyone I drafted, but later dropped, in the Expert League seems to be solid picks after all. Hamrlik and Komisarek are doing everything I expected of them – just not after the first two weeks, when I dropped them. Now it's Scott Hartnell. He has six points in two games and 12 in his last 12, with 16 PIMs in that span.

Craig Leipold will apparently pay $260 million for the Wild. If I'm Jim Balsillie, just to be an idiot, I would slip in there with an offer of $270 million (haha), knowing it's too late but just wanting to cause a stir in the NHL.

Shea Weber is back skating and should be back in the lineup in about 10 days.

Jordin Tootoo is suffering from a hip pointer and is on the shelf for two weeks or more.

Simon Gagne was back in the lineup and scored a goal last night. He played with Umberger and Briere. On the PP it was Knuble and Briere, with Richards on the blue line.

Tuukka Rask was sent down to Providence.

Dan Paille was back in the Buffalo lineup. He replaced Tim Connolly, who missed the game with a groin injury.

The Oilers were without Geoff Sanderson and Joni Pitkanen last night. They had the flu. Robert Nilsson was back in the lineup and picked up two points.

The Panthers announced that Noah Welch (shoulder) will be out for the rest of the season.

Jeff Cowan was back in the Vancouver lineup last night after missing 13 games with a shoulder injury.

Bryan Smolinski returned to the Habs lineup after missing 14 games with a knee injury.

Sergei Kostitsyn played just 10 minutes and was a minus-2 last night. Be prepared to watch him sit next game. A demotion may be around the corner with another game like that one.

Tyler Kennedy and Erik Christensen both missed last night's contest with the flu. However, Maxim Talbot returned from his ankle sprain and Ryan Stone made his NHL debut. Stone played just under six minutes and was not a factor.

The Blues have announced that Mike Johnson (shoulder) is gone for the rest of the regular season.
Martin Rucinsky (also a shoulder injury) will be out for another month.

Fantasy Prospects Rankings will be out on Sunday.
