For those of you in weekly leagues – A Roto-Look Ahead has been updated for the next week.

Henrik Zetterberg is probable for tonight's game.

Eric Perrin strained his groin in practice and is questionable for tonight.

Jonathan Toews hopes to return in about a week. He will resume skating today.

The 'Hawks recalled Martin St. Pierre. Coach Savard says that he plans to play him with Havlat and Kane. That could turn out very nice…

Paul Stastny did not skate as he had hoped yesterday. However, he is targeting a Feb. 10th return at the worst.

The Sharks acquired Jody Shelley from the Blue Jackets yesterday. They now have a tough guy as they prep for the playoffs. His fantasy value increases as I think his PIM's will increase – they have been a disappointment this year. The Jackets got a sixth rounder in '09 for him.

Jamie Langenbrunner missed last night's contest with the flu.

Ruslan Fedotenko and Colby Armstrong also missed due to the flu.

Michel Ouellet returned after missing 18 games with a shoulder injury. He played 17-plus minutes, but for some reason did not see much time on the power play.

In a rarity, Alexander Radulov led the Preds in ice time last night. He scored their only goal.

JP Dumont suffered a black eye when he accidentally collided with Tim Thomas and then Chara drove him downwards. Thomas than smacked Dumont several times in the face with his blocker. Dumont wants the NHL to look at it.

Bryan Murray has stated to the media that he has tried to trade Emery, but there are no takers.

Binghamton is not an option. So for now, Emery will remain in the lineup and will only get another chance if Gerber stumbles – which does happen, so stay tuned.

Mike Fisher has 26 points in his last 22 games.

Daniel Alfredsson's hip bothered him again and he sat out the third period. He will be re-evaluated today.

Kris Beech had immigration problems, which is why he did not get into the lineup last night for Pittsburgh.

As a result of the Beech issue, the Pens actually used Brooks Orpik as a left winger. Beech will be out for the game against Atlanta, as well, so expect Orpik to remain up front at least one more game.

Daniel Carcillo was back in the lineup last night and of course picked up a five minute major fighting Tollefsen. He played just under 12 minutes.

Fredrik Sjostrom was a healthy scratch as a result of Carcillo's return. Keith Yandle was also a healthy scratch.

Phoenix placed Mike Zigomanis on waivers.

Noah Welch was back skating yesterday. He had shoulder surgery early in the season. The Panthers' rearguard is still a few weeks away.

Jozef Stumpel (shoulder) is questionable for tonight's game.

Rostislav Olesz will have the stitches in his hand removed Friday and will return in about two weeks.

Teddy Purcell was the MVP of the AHL after scoring three goals and the shootout winner.

Keeping Karlsson Short Shifts – Thanks for Vejmelkmories

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Then it’s onto news including coverage of the postponed CGY/LAK game and defensive injuries piling up in MIN and putting some strain on Gustavsson’s performance. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
