Tuomo Ruutu for Andrew Ladd

The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired Tuomo Ruutu from the Chicago Blackhawks for Andrew Ladd.
The Hurricanes get: That gritty second liner that they need. The perfect compliment to Erik Cole on the other wing. While Brind'Amour is out, Ruutu will line up at center. He has some offensive upside, but is said to have lost a step since his knee injury.
The Blackhawks get: A big, hardworking winger with second-line upside.
Fantasy Players Impacted: Ruutu has had a horrible season, but it is said that this is because of his knee injury taking some jump from his game. He should see an initial jump in his production, but I question if he has a 60-point season in him no matter where he is. Ladd fits right into the Chicago top six and should be a 55-65 point guy next year. His upside is 65 points.
