The mailbag is a little light this week – only about five questions. If you want to ask me a question for The Hockey News mailbag, go to the bottom of this link and click "mailbag".

Something that DobberHockey has let slip has been the Line Combos section. No more. We have a re-vamped team of dedicated updaters and the lines will be updated at least once a week, maybe more. Check out the NHL line combo section here.

Peter Forsbeg will be a game-time decision today.

Olli Jokinen has scored just one goal since the horrific accident in which his skate accidentally cut Zednik's neck.

Rostislav Olesz, playing with Jokinen and McLean, has five goals and four assists in his last 12 games.

Alfredsson will be a no-go today, barring a miracle. His back spasms are still bothering him.

The Bruins are now thinking that Patrice Bergeron could sneak in and play the final week of the season. Stay tuned…

It appears that Spacek could be out for the rest of the regular season as a result of the incident I outlined below.

Will the real Dan Cloutier please stand up? Stops 38 of 40 shots last night and nearly steals the win for the Kings. This just days after I pick up Ersberg in my one league.

Interesting point brought up by Steve Zipay of Newsday. Since the Rangers open the season in Prague next year, signing Jaromir Jagr would be in their best interest. So maybe he will stay a Ranger after all. This doesn't sound promising though: Asked yesterday if he will be playing for the Rangers in Prague, and possibly in an outdoor game at Yankee Stadium, Jagr smiled and said, "I'll be watching on the Internet."

The Devils will be without the services of Colin White and Paul Martin today. White has upper body soreness (?) and Martin has a bruised foot that has cost him the last four games. Martin will actually be a game-time decision, so it is possible that you could see him.

Carolina rearguard David Tababe's concussion will cost him the rest of the regular season.

David Legwand will likely return in about a week from the bone bruise in his foot.

Marian Hossa (knee) is probable to return to the lineup tomorrow night. He will decide after the morning skate.

Daniel Briere, despite being back in the lineup, is playing hurt. In practice he wears the no-contact jersey as his shoulder is still sore. He will be in the lineup tonight against the Leafs.

Keith Tkachuk missed Monday's contest with a sore shoulder. It was an old injury that he re-aggravated. He will not play tonight either, but hopes to be back for Friday.

Phoenix line combos: Mueller will center Doan and Vrbata, Hanzal centers Winnik and Weller, and Perrault will center Lisin and Hossa. the second line will have Reinprecht and two of York, Kapanen or Tjarnqvist.

Jaroslav Spacek left Monday's game in the first period with an upper body injury and did not return.

The Kings are still not giving an update on the status of Ladislav Nagy's neck injury, but the rumor is that he is out for the season. Stay tuned…
