It turns out that Pascal Leclaire may have a concussion and he will miss at least the next two contests for Columbus. Norrena will get the starts.
Mats Sundin and Nik Antropov will both miss tomorrow's game with groin and knee problems respectively.
Chris Neil will likely return to the lineup this coming weekend from his knee injury.
R.J. Umberger suffered a knee sprain yesterday and will miss the next two weeks. That puts him out until about the final two games of the season.
Derian Hatcher has a broken leg – not significant in fantasy worlds, but interesting.
Scottie Upshall missed yesterday's contest as a healthy scratch, but with Umberger now out he will be in to stay going forward.
Another late bloomer has signed a professional contract. 22-year-old Oren Eizenman signed a deal with Worcester of the AHL. The 6-0, lanky forward had 61 points in 65 games over his last two NCAA seasons and had 66 in 53 ECHL games this year. He is a long shot, but you never know with these late bloomers.
Pascal Leclaire missed yesterday's game when he took a shot off the mask in warmups and was dazed. Modin was the culprit who took the shot.
David Vyborny left yesterday's game in the second with a knee injury. He will have an MRI today to determine the extent.
Dan Ellis has stopped 129 of 136 shots (.949 save percentage) over his past four starts
Peter Forsberg will be in the lineup for the Avs tonight, according to the Denver Post.
Erik Christensen left the third period of Sunday's contest with a sprained knee. He is day to day, although this late in the season I doubt you'll get more than three or four games out of him going forward.
Today's artlicle that will appear over at the Hockey News is on Brett McLean. He has 24 points in his last 24 games for Florida and has gone five straight with at least two points. My full thoughts on him… and another Brett MacLean… in today's Fantasy Pool Look over at THN.
