Oops – not ramblings. The widget pulls the articles so you know when a new one comes up. Still working on the ramblings and getting them on a widget.

Dobber's ramblings… on your desktop? If you are a Mac user, it can now happen! A widget has been created and all you need to do is upload the zip file, open it, and put it on your desktop. The cost? $1000. But for you, my loyal DobberHockey readers, I'll give it to you for free. You can find it in the Shop DobberHockey section .

Russ Miller was in Sweden and caught an SEL game. Read about his adventures HERE.

Both Mats Sundin and Nik Antropov left the ice shortly after getting on it yesterday. Sundin is likely out for at least another week. The team is hush-hush on Antropov.

Matt Cullen has not been around the Carolina practice facility and he is seeing a concussion specialist. He is out indefinitely with the return of his concussion symptoms and I would not expect him back in the regular season.

Wojtek Wolski was a healthy scratch for the fourth time in 10 games. With Forsberg back in the lineup, Wolski may have a hard time playing.

Forsberg began the game with Sakic and Jones, but Jones was later replaced with Brunette.

Sergei Zubov will see a doctor tomorrow in hopes of getting the go ahead to resume skating.

Alex Tanguay broke his big toe on Sunday and is doubtful for tonight's contest.

That fight that I showed you highlights of yesterday… it turns out that Nystrom may have suffered a concussion.

Not fantasy worthy, but interesting to note given Calgary's sudden injury luck: Rhett Warrener has a broken ankle.

David Vyborny is out 7-10 days with his sprained knee.

Pascal Leclaire will not play the next two games (possible concussion). Dan LaCosta has been recalled.

Mason Raymond left last night's contest in the third after taking a knee-on- knee hit with Keith Ballard. He strained his MCL and will be gone for four weeks. Ryan Shannon will draw back into the lineup now.

The Boogeyman was back last night and so Chris Simon sat. It looks like the Wild will not play both at the same time.

Brian Campbell has 11 points in 10 games as a Shark. Joe Corvo has 15 in 15 as a member of the 'Canes.

Jaroslav Halak will get the start tonight.

The Canes recalled Jeff Hamilton. With Corvo locked as the QB, he won't have a chance to put up the points he put up early in the year.

Gary Roberts is still practicing, but still not taking contact.

David Legwand (foot) is out for tonight's game, doubtful for Thursday, and "we'll see" about later games.

How's this for a compliment? Wayne Gretzky said that Alexander Ovechkin has the hands of Mike Bossy, the speed of Jari Kurri and the strength of Mark Messier. Nice!

Philly.com: Mike Richards practiced little yesterday and Joffrey Lupul not at all. Both were just resting, but will be in the lineup tonight, John Stevens said.

Antero Niittymaki will get the start in goal.

If you are a company interested in some great cheap advertising, I have two opportunities for you. One is a 30-second spot on Dobber Nation, our radio show. Another is – I need two more prizes for the upcoming DobberHockey playoff pool. See? Very low cost – but will reach the eyes and ears of THOUSANDS.
