Just updated Looking Ahead. Will add the last three days of the season in a couple of days.

San Jose has activated Ryane Clowe from the IR list and the winger could be in the lineup this weekend. He has missed most of this season and as such makes a great sleeper pick for playoff pools. You will notice that I have him included in my free playoff pool.

Do you have a player/subject that you want my take on? Leave your thoughts here and I may make it my topic for today's Hockey News article. Yes, I have writer's block…

Roberto Luongo will probably be back in Vancouver in time to start tonight. He flew to Florida to be with his wife and newborn baby, but is expected back in time to face the Wild.

Sergei Zubov is expected to return to practice today. If so, they may rush him in for this weekend because the team is spiralling.

Philippe Boucher was back in the Dallas lineup after missing six games with a shoulder injury.

Erik Ersberg stopped 38 shots last night for the shutout. He got the start because Dan Cloutier has a groin injury. Of course, I didn't know that and dressed Dubie and Turco last night – both losses. Ersberg has started 10 of the last 12 games and boasts a 1.97 GAA and .942 SP in 11 games this season. Those numbers have flown under the radar but can't be ignored any longer.

Still nothing new on Ryan Getzlaf – he will be a game time decision for tonight.

J-S Giguere will probably get the start tonight after missing three games with back spasms.

Scott Gomez was back in the Rangers' lineup yesterday. He played 18:41 and grabbed two assists – he's fine.

Michal Rozsival was also back.

Cam Barker is expected back in the lineup tomorrow.

Thomas Holmstrom skated for 30 minutes on his own yesterday. His groin injury looks serious, but yesterday was a good sign.

Dominik Hasek was not in practice (flu). Look for Osgood to start.

Mikael Samuelsson left practice early because of a sore groin. He will be a game time decision.

Rookie Jared Boll, out for the last three games with a hip pointer, should return to the lineup tonight. He has been great for PIMs.

Carolina winger Patrick Eaves will undergo shoulder surgery and will miss the first round of the playoffs.

Ryan Whitney was back on left wing last night again. He played just 13:41 as a result, but still manned the point on the power play.

Gary Roberts was back skating on his own for the Pens.

With Crosby's return, the Pens scratched Jeff Taffe.

Mike Comrie missed last night's game with the flu.

Mats Sundin and Nik Antropov were both back in the Leaf lineup last night. The played in that 17:30 to 18:30 range.

Reports out of Sweden indicate that an SEL team is wooing Rob Schremp. Keep that in mind – he may be unhappy with not getting a real NHL shot yet and the SEL pays well, and tax free. Regardless, my opinion is that he will probably stay and give the NHL another shot next year.

Spencer Machacek, ranked 188 on my fantasy prospects list, has signed a three-year entry-level deal with Atlanta. He should sneak into the top 150 with the news, but is still a couple of years away from the NHL. He led the Vancouver Giants of the WHL with 78 points in 70 contests this year.

Jan Hlavac has eight points in 13 games since joining the Preds. He has currently replaced Radulov on the first line.

Randy Jones (hip) could be back in the Philly lineup tonight.
