Kyle Turris, ranked Number 1 on my Top 200 Fantasy Prospects List, has signed a contract and will play in Phoenix's last three games of the season.

Kevin Porter, ranked 54 on my fantasy prospects list, scored four goals in a 5-1 victory over Niagara in the Frozen Four tournament. He could make the Coyotes next season.

TSN is reporting that both Mark Streit (foot) and Guillaume Latendresse (neck) will probably be back in the lineup tomorrow night. Saku Koivu is likely out for one to four weeks. Mike Komisarek is back skating and should be back in time for the playoffs.

The SEL season ended this afternoon (ET) – at least Brunnstrom's part of it, anyway…which is all us poolies care about, am I right? Let the Fabian Brunnstrom sweepstakes begin. Topic is being talked about right here in our forum…

Playoff Dark Horses in today's Hockey News article…

Kristian Huselius played just 9:03 last night and was an atrocious minus-3 in an important game for Calgary. That won't get him in Keenan's good books.

The Top 300 Keeper League Player Rankings and the Top 100 Keeper Defensemen Lists are both updated for April.

Both Ron Hainsey and Dick Tarnstrom were out with head injuries yesterday, so Kris Russell was back in the lineup.

Cory Emmerton has signed with Grand Rapids. He is ranked 63rd on my prospects list. He is some years away from the NHL, but has high upside.

The Thrashers recalled Jordan Lavallee from the AHL. He will make his NHL debut tomorrow. He is ranked 230 on my prospects list due to his limited upside, but he does have the potential to be a 60-point, 100 PIM player in a few years. More likely he will be 45 and 90 though.

Evgeni Malkin took a skate to the face and had to get stitches yesterday. He came back to the game later. Brandon Dubinsky was the culpret and he apologized.

Craig Conroy left last night's contest with a torso injury. He is day to day.

Daymond Langkow did not play last night because he was attending a funeral.

Joni Pitkanen left last night's contest with a groin injury and is day to day.

Ryan Getzlaf returned to the lineup last night, notching two assists.

Noah Welch is expected to return to the Florida lineup Tuesday. It will likely be at the expense of Cory Murphy.

Jason Williams missed most of the second period after sustaining a charley horse. He played a few shifts in the third because the game was tight, but he will be evaluated today.

Ryane Clowe returned to the San Jose lineup and made an immediate impact. He lined up with Joe Thornton and Milan Michalek and assisted on the first goal 14 seconds into his return.

Craig Rivet missed his second straight contest with an upper-body injury. Despite this, Matt Carle and Sandis Ozolinsh were still scratched.

Devin Setoguchi did not play because of "bumps and bruises", but I suspect he actually suffered from Clowe-itis. That's an affliction one gets when a a player by the name of Clowe gets into the lineup and takes one's spot.

Pittsburgh rearguard Ryan Whitney is fighting for ice time. He played just 13:57 on Sunday and 8:32 of it was on the power play.

Peter Forsberg did not play Sunday in Colorado’s 3-2 overtime loss to Minnesota. His groin was acting up again. He has played seven and has missed seven due to injury this season. That sounds about right.

Ryan Smyth has not scored a goal in his last eight games. He has just four assists in that span.
