Dobber Sports

2008-04-04

Andreas Nodl has foregone the remainder of his college eligibility and has signed with the Flyers. He is ranked 56 on my fantasy prospects list but darts into the top 30 with this news. He is a surefire NHLer with great offensive and two-way skills. I would expect him on the team in 2009-10.

Important note: The email address that you have for the DobberHockey site needs to be the same email address that you use for Paypal. The Draft List is ready now, and I will update it again on Sunday when final teams are set. So right now 17 teams are on the list and you can download it now.

The Playoff Draft List is now online. Make sure macros are enabled. It is an Excel spreadsheet. Log onto the site and click "Downloads" and if you bought it it should be there. This is a new feature so bear with me if there are any bugs. If you have any issues or questions, please post them HERE

Login to the site and you will notice an option on the left hand side called "Downloads". From there, you should be able to access what you have purchased. The Playoff Draft List that is currently on there is from last year. I will have this year's on there in a couple of hours, just check back. If there are any problems, let me know. Also let me know if you get access to something that you shouldn't (be honest haha)

For those of you who do not use the "Looking Ahead" feature on DobberHockey, the Oilers have played their last game of the season. You can pick up some cheap points by dumping all your Oilers and picking up some other guys in their place.

The line on Kyle Turris: 19:28 of ice (fifth on the team, third among forwards behind linemates Doan and Mueller), minus-1 rating, two PIMs, 2:20 of PP time (behind only Keith Yandle).

Daniel Alfredsson was hit hard by Mark Bell last night. He was hit hard in the head and also has "a bit of a knee problem". Don't expect Alffy to play this weekend and hope for the best when it comes to the playoffs.

Mike Fisher left the game with a knee injury. The seriousness is unknown.

Cory Stillman was back in the lineup.

Tomas Holmstrom is now shooting for getting back in the lineup Sunday. His groin has been improving all week. Be wary of him for the playoffs.

Brad Richards did not play last night because of "soreness". He is doubtful for tonight.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Sergei Zubov has gone to Germany to see a specialist about his groin and foot. Sounds like he may not be back by next week after all…

Mike Ribeiro missed the game because of the flu.

Dallas will play Anaheim in the first round. That's the only guaranteed matchup so far, although the Rangers vs. the Devils seems pretty certain.

Jaroslav Spacek came back and played nearly 20 minutes last night. Despite that, Andrej Sekera still logged over 20 minutes and plenty on the power play. He could be an impact player next season.

Justin Abdelkader, ranked 176 on my fantasy prospects list, signed an entry level deal with Detroit. He will be a solid NHL power forward, but like all power forwards his offense will take several years to blossom.

LA goaltender (and their future between the pipes) Jonathan Bernier has completed his junior season and will now help Manchester (AHL).

Vincent Lecavalier took a "cheap shot" from Matt Cooke, injurying his shoulder and taking him out of last night's game. He will not play their final game and ends the season with 92 points.

Carcillo absolutely DROPS Barch in this fight last night:
