Despite the fact that Simon Gagne has been traveling with the team, there is zero chance that he will suit up for them, even if they were to go to the Final.
The Leafs signed future power forward Dale Mitchell to an entry level contract. Mitchell was their first pick last summer. He has 65-point upside but is still years away from posting fantasy worthy points, so he is far down my prospects list.
The Sharks are hoping to re-sign Brian Campbell, who played over 56 minutes last night.
Milan Michalek was smoked by Brenden Morrow at the end of regulation last night and Mitchell had to be helped off the ice. He did not play in the 4OT periods. The extent of the injury is unknown, as it is 4:30 in San Jose right now. I will try and dig it up later. In the meantime, here is a clip of the hit:
